Practise Times for beginnersfrom 19th October IntroductionUCL Union Kendo Club ends its fifth year having left yet another, in a long series of dirty great boot marks in the face of British kendo. Placing 3rd in the national team competition. We are also currently in the process of ‘spreading the love’ that is UCL Union Kendo Club across Europe, making sure that our continental cousins don’t feel left out. Our current group of instructors is Neil Sharp, Rob Bastin and Joe Tsoi. As well as these UCL enjoys regular visits from some of the strongest kendoka in London, national team members of Great Britain and a few of our continental cousins paying us a visit (you're all very welcome if you want!). Have a look around this website for ‘profiles’....ahem. We're a social club, frequenting the pub after each practice (and whenever else we can besides...) and like to think that we practise as hard as we drink. If you want to get sweaty and red faced, then rehydrate through the medium of alcohol, you are in the right place. You need it because your love of fine wines is no excuse for a decent beating. |
