Attaching your men chigawa and men himo
And here we are! You've got your brand new stylish chigawa for your men, you pick them up, and the first thought you have is "oh hell.....how do I put this things on?!". Well fear no more, my enthusiastic but simple noob, read on and attach your bling with ease!
Step 1
Make sure you have your bits. Take one of the chigawa, and from the inside of the men, slot it around either the 3rd or 4th bar from the bottom (your choice, which ever is comfortable)and line up the holes.
Step 2
Slide the loop at the bottom of the men himo over the ends of the chigawa past the hole. Then, take the other end of the himo, with the tassle, and pass it through both holes in the chigawa (it may help to fold the himo a couple of centimetres from the tassle and push it through like that)
Step 3
Pull the men himo all the way through the holes, then pull it taught and move the loop at the bottom of the himo as close to the hole in the chigawa as possible. Have a look at the pic below if it doesn't make sense. Repeat for the other chigawa and himo
Step 4
Next, cross the men chigawa at the back of the men, then take them back round to the front and up to the top of the men gane, then pass them underneath the central bar through the large hole.And you're done!
