How to attach your Himo and your Chigawa to your men.

Pick up your men and have a look at the leather bits that attach the himo to the men. They are not mystically melded into the very fabric of the metal, but very simply attached , using the himo to stay on without falling off (and making you look stupid).

Here are two simple items to show you how to attach the two kinds of men chigawa (not hard) and how to put your himo on as well. Click on the image of the style you use (remember that for kansai style you need the single long chigawa and 8 shaku men himo)
